MFX4 Product Range
The MFX4 range is a direct upgrade to the current MFX readers, maintaining a seamless migration path through product-by-product upgrades. The MFX4 family mirrors the variants of the existing MFX lineup:
- YSoft MFX4 Ultimate Reader: The flagship universal reader supporting over 100 technologies (~99% market coverage), including mobile and modern authentication methods, eliminating the need for multiple devices.
- YSoft MFX4 Mobile Reader: The model supports a broad range of technologies, including Legic. It focuses on mobile authentication to provide a secure, card-free experience. (Note: The MFX4 Mobile model no longer supports older HID Prox and Indala technologies).
- YSoft MFX4 Reader: Tailored for HID technologies, delivering optimized, focused authentication.
- YSoft MFX4 Lite Reader: A cost-effective, lightweight model supporting fundamental authentication technologies without compromising quality.
The current MFX range will continue to be offered alongside the new MFX4 series, ensuring continuity in the product lineup and customer familiarity. The existing MFX readers are expected to remain available for sale for at least 12 months following the MFX4 launch, tentatively through November 2026.

MFX4 Card Reader Briefcases Now Available for Delivery
Contact your Y Soft representative to order the MFX4 card reader briefcase. This provides a hands-on experience with the MFX4 Ultimate Reader, delivered in a specially designed briefcase, including configuration cards and accessories for self-service card type analysis, quick deployment, and troubleshooting.
Please note that these pre-production units come with limited initial firmware; key features such as card testing will be enabled with a firmware update scheduled for September. All software and firmware updates will be available through Partner Portal.
Certified and Ready for Market
The MFX4 range has secured CE mark certification in Europe, marking a key compliance milestone, with additional country certifications underway. Official sales are expected to begin in October 2025.
